[Update 10 Apr 2023] More images have emerged of the two-piece collection, just a week ahead of its 14 April release date. Enjoy these new angular looks!<\/strong><\/p>\n

[Update 5 Apr 2023] Bodega and Vault by Vans finally unveiled the sneaker in question: the OG Chukka LX “Mid-Top Modern”. Set to arrive in two colorways, with the first being the near-clad pink version that was teased in earlier photos. The other comes in a more classy makeover, sporting a white upper with brown accents throughout the overlays and midsole. Check them out and get ready for the drop on 14 April!<\/p>\n

Bodega is a household name for sneakerheads. Omnipresent through their frequent sneaker and streetwear collaborations, one is never too far away from a Bodega-designed sneaker given the myriad of partners they work with. In fact, the boutique had two big projects just last month, one with HOKA ONE<\/a>\u00a0and the other a three-way effort with BEAMS and adidas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There’s no rest for the Boston-based shop though. Early into April, Bodega announced an upcoming collaboration with long-time partners Vans. While the boutique has refrained from showing the sneaker in its entirety, they’ve released two photos so far of the upcoming sneaker.<\/p>\n

The first showcases their custom-branded aglets with a rope-like lace sitting atop what looks to be the toe box. The toe box itself comes in a pink hairy suede construction, promising a buttery touch to finish.<\/p>\n

The second image takes us inside the shoe, featuring navy blue inner linings and a matching insole to boot. Gilded co-branding shines against the blue backdrop. While barely visible, you could make out more of the pink material found in the first image, perhaps pointing towards a near-clad pink upper.<\/p>\n

While we’re still trying to make out the sneaker’s design and silhouette, one thing’s for certain. Bodega has announced the release date to be 14 April, and by then we’ll definitely get a better look at the Bodega x Vault by Vans collaboration.<\/p>\n
