As the last of winter melts off and spring starts to roll in, it’s about that perfect time of the year to head to your nearby parks for a picnic. Even more so if you’re in countries such as Japan or South Korea, where the cherry blossoms are coming into full bloom.<\/p>\n
Coming just in time for picnic season, Nike is releasing a new series of Air Force 1 Lows. Dubbed the “Gingham” lineup, the first two colorways have recently been revealed to be red and blue, giving you and another the opportunity to match up on the picnic mat.<\/p>\n
Dressed in Nike’s traditional crisp white leather, much of the silhouette’s construction centers around a clean and minimalistic design. This gives the “Gingham” detailing to stand out from the sneaker, with the titular print appearing on both Swooshes and heel overlays according to their colorways. A similar hue paints the Air Force 1’s dubrae, along with the tongue and insole branding.<\/p>\n
Overall, it’s a rather simple design. But it’s perfect for those looking for something unfussy that suits the season. Just make sure you bring the right picnic mat with you to match your new kicks!<\/p>\n
