The latest Air Force 1 Mid is appeared that inspired by a panda for focusing on Ueno, the Sneaker Mecca!!

In the early 1990s, as the NBA began to be televised in Japan and basketball culture was on the rise, people visited Ueno in search of rare sneakers. This moment was the very origin of Japanese sneaker culture. Sneakers that had never been seen in magazines at the time before, lined the shelves of stores in an age and every Japanese sneakerheads was looking for those sneakers. This excitement is a sensation that sneakerheads today cannot experience. In homage to the early days of sneaker culture, the “Nike Air Force 1”, designed by “Ueno”, is now on standby.

The mid-cut is based on the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1 and features a black suede and white boa design of the adorable “panda” that symbolizes Ueno. The Air Force 1 is Inspired by the “FL Special Order Navy/White Patent”, a masterpiece. The “Jewel Swoosh” on the inside of the shoe represents the eyes of a panda and the clear outsole and insole features panda and Ameyoko, Ueno graphics, as well as Japanese words such as “Air Force 1 Basketball Shoe with Nike” and “Bruce Kilgore” in Japanese.
