The adidas Superskate Lands on the Same Page As SNEEZE Magazine
Don't SNEEZE on these!
SNEEZE Magazine is an independent publication started in 2008 and has been a mainstay in the skateboarding circuit since. While it’s left its mark on the culture through journalism and photography, it’s now doing the same on footwear by way of the adidas Superskate.
Two colorways are confirmed in the release: a “Core Black” and a “Cloud White”. The silhouette is reminiscent of the classics in terms of design. Consider the Superstar or the Campus but with an extended ankle collar.
Three tones make up each colorway with the “Core Black” accompanied by white on the three stripes with Golden Beige coming through the laces and interior. The latter “Cloud White” is accompanied by Trace Olive on the quarter and interior with black running through the laces, where alternates are offered as well.
The upper is mainly constructed with suede while leather forms the hallmark three stripes on the quarter. Adjacent to it on the lateral is SNEEZE’s imprint. That said, branding elements are noticeably kept to a minimum with adidas’ being on the tongue tag and the imprint on the footbed. Rounding out its components is the rubber sole unit featuring a herringbone pattern underfoot.
The two pairs will be released on the adidas CONFIRMED app on 25 February for US$100.
