Release Confirmed: Nike Dunk Mid “Black Canvas”
Taking cues from Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 "Black Phantom"?
[Update 20 Mar 2023] Following its initial drop earlier this month, a Japan release for the Nike Dunk Mid “Off Noir” has been scheduled for 24 March exclusively via Union Tokyo. Similarly, it will arrive alongside the “Pale Ivory” colorway.
[Update 22 Feb 2023] A release date for the Nike Dunk Mid “Black Canvas” (or “Off Noir”) has been confirmed. This pair, noted for its resemblance to the Travis Scott AJ1 Low “Black Phantom”, will drop on 1 March alongside another pair of similarly canvas-clad Nike Dunk Mid.
Come Spring 2023, Nike will unveil another pair of Nike Dunk Mid that is unique yet easy to carry off at the same time. This Nike Mid “Black Canvas”, as its name suggests, features an upper made entirely out of black canvas. The Nike Swoosh appears in white leather, while a black-and-white sole unit completes the shoe.
Another interesting design detail is the contrast stitching seen all over the shoe—white stitches over the black upper and black over the white Swoosh. This unique detail is not unlike those that were first spotted on the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Phantom”.
There is no firm release date yet for this Nike Dunk but a retail price of US$115 has been tagged to this pair. Grab a first look via official photos at the image gallery above while we wait for more details to trickle in.
