Darryl Brown x adidas Originals Campus 80 Presents Workwear Inspirations
Releasing in an "Active Green" colorway.
Workwear has been rising in popularity in the fashion industry in recent times. But for people who actually embodied workwear fashion since the old days would prove to have a different approach to the style. One of such would be Darryl Brown. Known to be one of Ye aka Kanye West’s ex-stylist, he once spoked about the growth in the trend, “It was something that was so true to me — so I wanted to offer my take on it.”
Partnering with adidas, the duo has announced their second sneaker collaboration with the Darryl Brown x adidas Campus 80. Initially set to release on February, the drop has went through multiple delays until October. Inspired by the Cavs arena workers of the 2022 All Star Game, the collaboration was introduced as part of the “Made Possible” campaign. Constructed in a suede upper, the sneaker stays true to the OG with an added brand tag of his name on the side of the toe box.
While an actual adidas drop seems to be called off (more info here), the Darryl Brown x adidas Originals Campus 80 is already available via certain retailers around the globe with an upcoming drop via END clothing on 27th October with a retail price of $105.
