UNDERCOVER x HUMAN MADE “Last Orgy 2” Collection, Part 2
Nothing goes UNDERCOVER when it's HUMAN MADE by Jun Takahashi and Nigo.
Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER and Nigo’s HUMAN MADE introduce the second wave of their “Last Orgy 2” collection released earlier this year in February. The followup will consist of the usual suspects of a varsity jacket, a long-sleeved, and a short-sleeved graphic t-shirt.
The graphics on the two t-shirt offerings revive the original design sold irregularly in Nowhere, the Harajuku store founded and operated by the duo in the ’90s; while the navy melton wool jacket, also a revival, will feature contrasting leather sleeves along with embroidery and badges. So far, only HUMAN MADE has previewed the collection on their web store but it’s stated that the three-piece collection will be available in an alternate colorway on UNDERCOVER’s.
The “Last Orgy 2” was originally a column in Takarajima (or Treasure Island), a pop-culture magazine. The two ran it from 1992 to 1994 and midway in 1993, turned it into a brand and sold it in NOWHERE. The store was the first to ever carry UNDERCOVER in Japan while Nigo was starting out BAPE.
The entire collection is confirmed to drop on HUMAN MADE come 20th October, 11 a.m. (JST), while nothing has been ascertained on UNDERCOVER’s side. The varsity jacket will go for ¥162,800 (≈US$1094), and the t-shirts for ¥14,080 (≈US$95) and ¥10,780 (≈US$72), respectively.
