A Nostalgic Homage to the Birth of Ura-Harajuku

Streetwear history is being rewritten. NIGO® and Nike are teaming up for an Air Force 1 that serves as a high-octane tribute to “Last Orgy 2” (LO2)—the legendary joint project between NIGO® and Jun Takahashi (the visionary behind UNDERCOVER). Originally a cult-favorite magazine column in the early ’90s, LO2 acted as the ultimate cultural compass, curating the music, fashion, and art that defined Tokyo’s underground. This collaboration draws direct inspiration from NOWHERE, the seminal boutique opened by the duo in 1993. As the physical ground zero for the Ura-Harajuku movement, NOWHERE served as the original launchpad for A Bathing Ape and UNDERCOVER, effectively birthing the global streetwear blueprint we know today.

About Nike x NIGO® Air Force 1 ’01 Low “Last Orgy 2”

The upper features high-gloss patent leather in a Sail and Royal Blue palette, channeling the vibrant, premium aesthetic of NIGO®’s early career. Eschewing modern bulk, this release adopts the 2001 silhouette, utilizing a slimmed-down toe box for a sharper, sportier profile. Signature collaborative details include “LO2” heel graphics and custom “NIGO Air” branding on the tongue and heel tab.

To round out the drop, a matching “Last Orgy 2” coach jacket and graphic T-shirts are also expected to be available.

The rollout will begin on 1st May 2026 at The Design Museum in London, coinciding with the grand opening of NIGO®’s major retrospective exhibition, “NIGO: From Japan With Love.” Following this exclusive London launch, the collection is scheduled for a wider release on 2nd May 2026 via the official humanmade.jp online store and select Undercover brick-and-mortar locations.
