Jordan Brand is releasing the Jordan Spizike Low “El Vuelo” (“The Flight”) in September 2025, a sneaker that pays tribute to Mexico’s War of Independence.

About the Jordan Spizike Low “El Vuelo”

The low-top shoe features a white, snakeskin-textured leather upper with smooth overlays. It’s accented with red on the heel, pull tab, and lace toggle. A metallic gold Jumpman logo is on the tongue, and a green Jumpman on the lace toggle references Mexico’s national colors.

The design also includes decorative gold medallions on the heel—a feature reintroduced with this silhouette last year—that showcase the “Mars Blackmon” and “40 Acres & A Mule” logos. The sneaker is finished with an aged off-white midsole with visible Air cushioning and a red rubber outsole.

Beyond the color scheme, the design draws inspiration from the iconic masks worn by lucha libre wrestlers in Mexico City, with textures that mimic their look. The shoebox itself is also special, designed to resemble a vintage match poster.

Release Details

The Jordan Spizike Low “El Vuelo” is scheduled to release on 16 September 2025, alongside the Jordan 3 “El Vuelo” which is Mexico’s Independence Day. You’ll be able to find them on Nike.com and at select retailers.
