Gamescom, the world’s largest video game convention, has been held every year since 2009 at Koelnmesse in the German city of Cologne. Despite not being a TCG-focused convention, Gamescom has over the years featured a number of TCG franchises—and in the 2025 edition to run from 20 to 24 August, for the very first time, the ONE PIECE Card Game will be featured.

There will be trial gameplay sessions held which are primarily intended for ONE PIECE Card Game newcomers. Every participant will receive a Red/Green Luffy demo deck for the trial session. It will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and participants will be allowed to take the deck back with them. Additionally, those who answer a survey after completing a trial session will receive a copy of a promotional Monkey D. Luffy card.

At the ONE PIECE Card Game booth, anyone who makes any purchase of any ONE PIECE Card Game products will have a Parallel Art version of the Tony Tony Chopper card from Emperors in the New World [OP-09] thrown in for free. Finally, anyone who shows the staff members at the booth proof that they are following the official ONE PIECE Card Game social media accounts can pick up a ONE PIECE Card Game logo sticker for themselves.
