On the surface, Picnic Basket might appear to be a relatively unassuming Item card depicting an item from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games which many would easily overlook. However, in reality this card from Violet ex [SV1V] has actually served a crucial function in multiple different tournament decks.

About Picnic Basket (Violet ex [SV1V] 071/078)

When played, Picnic Basket heals every Pokémon currently in play—both the player’s and the opponent’s—by 30 HP. As such, when used at the right time, Picnic Basket could potentially buy the player an additional turn without having to surrender a Prize card. More importantly, it might also be enough to prevent the deck’s most important Pokémon from being KO’d before being fully set up.

This is a card which is almost entirely sought out by players as it’s not one with all that much appeal for collectors. This is due to its rarity of Uncommon (U) as well as its lack of an illustration of any note.
