New Balance is releasing a fresh colorway for the 1906R, called “Vintage Indigo”. 

About the New Balance 1906R “Vintage Indigo”

This shoe features a deep navy mesh base with “Dark Silver Metallic” leather overlays, providing a subtle sheen. For a retro touch, “Angora” accents on the tongue, midsole, and heel counter complete the look.

Beyond its aesthetics, the 1906R is also built for comfort. Its N-ERGY midsole and ABZORB cushioning work together to absorb impact, while the rubber outsole offers great traction and stability. The sneaker includes traditional laces for a secure fit and reflective branding for visibility in low-light conditions.

Release Details

The New Balance 1906R “Vintage Indigo” is poised to release sometime in 2025, with an RRP of US$155, through respective New Balance retailers.
