One of the most coveted and valuable of the 10 Special Art Rare (SAR) cards in the newly-released Pokémon TCG dual set Mega Brave [M1L] / Mega Symphonia [M1S] is Mega Gardevoir ex, the headliner of Mega Symphonia [M1S]. For several reasons, the immense value of this card as well as the tremendous demand for it should come as no surprise at all.

About Mega Gardevoir ex (Mega Symphonia [M1S] 087/063)

The Full Art illustration of this card depicts the Psychic/Fairy-type Pokémon in a background with an aesthetic that clearly befits both its types. In the background, images of Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir can be seen—the pre-evolutions and ordinary form of Mega Gardevoir ex respectively. As one of the most iconic Mega-Evolved Pokémon, this card was always set to become one of the leading pulls of Mega Symphonia [M1S].

Of course, we have to address the point we can’t avoid: the reason why Gardevoir is as popular as it is among the fandom. While we won’t go into detail, we can nonetheless safely say that for many who are interested in Gardevoir in general, there are certain “less ordinary” reasons for that. However, even beyond that, it should nonetheless be noted that Gardevoir, as well as its Mega-Evolved form, remains a fan-favorite Pokémon—especially when portrayed on a card of the SAR rarity.
