Some of these team-specific editions have been quite inventive with their designs, moving beyond simple team colors. However, these more adventurous interpretations usually appear in a club’s second or third release. Since this is Aston Villa’s first time getting a dedicated Samba, the design remains fairly traditional.

It incorporates the club’s signature burgundy and sky blue on the Three Stripes and the suede T-toe. The classic white leather base and gum sole, familiar to all Samba enthusiasts, are still present. A notable touch is the Aston Villa lion replacing the usual adidas logo on the tongue, serving as the most prominent display of the club’s crest on the shoe.
