For decades, Nike has paid homage to cities around the world with special, inspired colorways. From London to Tokyo, and finally, Lisbon, with this iteration of the Air Max Plus.

About the Nike Air Max Plus “Lisboa”

Inspired by the city’s celebrated azulejo tilework, this Nike Air Max Plus features intricate blue-and-white graphics that recall the traditional Portuguese ceramic aesthetic, accented by a metallic gold Swoosh with “Lisboa” stitched on the tongue.

Furthering the narrative, the sole plate continues the tile motif seen on top. A jewel badge on the tongue nods to the city’s flag, substituting Lisbon’s historic coat of arms with the Nike Swoosh. The design is completed with blue midfoot shanks and Tuned Air cushioning.

Release Details

The Nike Air Max Plus “Lisboa” will be available online at Nike.com and through select retailers. However, rumors suggest it may see an exclusive launch in Portugal. Stay tuned!
