New Balance 1906L Loafer “Black Croc” [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Stepping into luxury with a familiar twist.
New Balance is set to refresh its highly anticipated 1906L loafer in 2025, a standout from its 2024 releases. This distinctive interpretation of the popular 1906R runner has consistently sold out in previous colorways, and a “Black Croc” iteration is now being introduced.
About the New Balance 1906L Loafer “Black Croc”
The latest 1906L Loafer boasts an all-black design, featuring a glossy patent leather upper and a sophisticated faux croc print on the leather panels, lending it a high-fashion aesthetic. Despite the elevated look, it retains familiar 1906R overlays around the mudguard, midfoot, and heel, maintaining a connection to its running shoe origins.
Breaking from tradition, the shoe showcases a smaller, embroidered “N” logo on the toe, replacing the customary large side “N”. Additionally, 1906L branding is visible on the heel and insole. A black foam midsole and rubber outsole, both carried over from the 1906R, complete the design.
Release Details
The New Balance 1906L Loafer “Black Croc” is scheduled for a 2025 release. It will be available through New Balance brick-and-click stores, with an RRP of US$160.
