It didn’t take long for Brave Bangle to find a place within the Pokémon TCG metagame following its release in White Flare [SV11W]. Just over two weeks following the card’s launch, Mahiro Katō took a version of the Joltik Box deck containing this card to third place at the 2025 Japan Championships and clearly established that this card is a viable addition to that deck.

About Brave Bangle (White Flare [SV11W] 082/086)

Brave Bangle is included in some Joltik Box decks as a counter to the near-omnipresent Fezandipiti ex card from Night Wanderer [SV6a] as well as any of the four Ogerpon ex cards from Mask of Change [SV6]. This is because all those Pokémon have 210 HP.

When this Pokémon Tool card is attached to the Galvantula card from Night Wanderer [SV6a], the power boost of 30 which is dealt to all opposing Pokémon with an Ability such as all the aforementioned ones in combination with additional boosts granted from attaching an Electric Energy card to Galvantula as well as Galvantula’s own Ability of Compound Eyes allows its Shocking Web attack to dish out exactly 210 damage to pick up a two-Prize KO, remove a major threat from the field, and potentially leave a vulnerable Pokémon in the opposing Active Spot.

Despite this card’s low rarity of Uncommon (U), the fact that this card has a Poké Ball Mirror version featuring special holofoil with a Poké Ball pattern on it elevates its value beyond what might ordinarily be expected.

Release Details

Although this card has an English version, its Poké Ball Mirror iteration is exclusively in Japanese.

The sale price of a Brave Bangle Poké Ball Mirror (White Flare [SV11W] 082/086) card is relatively low, selling for just 440 JPY (~US$2.98) per copy.
