An oft-neglected sibling of the Jordan Brand family, the Air Jordan 15, will finally have its time in the sun again, signaling a renewed focus on some of the line’s lesser-seen silhouettes. A revival highlighted by the arrival of the Air Jordan 15 23RE “Black Muslin”.

According to zSneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the 23RE redux will introduce the pair sans the signature protruding tongue, inspired by Michael Jordan’s tongue-out gesture just before executing a highlight play. In its stead, a taller, extended shroud that leans more into the shoe’s retrofuturistic design pedigree.

About the Air Jordan 15 23RE “Black/Muslin”

The colorway itself is understated but precise: The upper dressed in a woven jet black, while contrasting Muslin tones appear across the midsole, mudguard, and outsole. A black inner bootie complements the sophisticated aesthetic, maintaining the model’s sense of quiet confidence.

The pair is expected to be part of a wider push by Jordan Brand to revisit archival silhouettes through updated tooling and color treatments. Fans can expect similar revivals for the Air Jordan 16 and Air Jordan 18, both in new general releases and collaborative projects.
