On 11 July, Acne Studios marked a new chapter in its Tokyo presence by relocating and expanding its flagship store in the heart of the Aoyama district—a move that comes nearly 13 years after the brand’s first-ever standalone boutique debuted on the city’s stylish streets.

To commemorate this milestone, Acne Studios has partnered with acclaimed ceramic artist Takuro Kuwata for a capsule collection that reimagines the brand’s signature pieces through Kuwata’s vibrant and playful aesthetic.

This limited-edition collaboration showcases a stunning reinterpretation of Acne Studios’ iconic accessories and apparel. Kuwata’s hallmark bold color palette and eye-catching motifs breathe new life into these staples, transforming them into wearable works of art.

The centerpiece of the collection is undoubtedly the Camero bag, featuring a striking pink body adorned with gold and blue water droplet-like motifs that create a three-dimensional illusion. Adding a subtle yet luxurious touch, gold-tone studs are cleverly integrated into the design, while a key-shaped charm dangles from the front pocket, injecting a whimsical accent.
