Originally released in June 2023, the Uma Musume Pretty Derby 1st Round and 2nd Round Trial Decks were the first-ever Weiß Schwarz products which were a crossover with mobile game Uma Musume Pretty Derby. A little over two years later, it’s very possible that these two Trial Decks will see a new surge of fan interest.

About Trial Deck: Uma Musume Pretty Derby 1st Round / 2nd Round

Both Trial Decks are pre-constructed 50-card decks designed to introduce beginners to Weiß Schwarz and its gameplay. Additionally, for collectors, 15 of the 50 cards have the possibility of coming in Triple Rare (RRR) while 2 others could come in Over Frame Rare (OFR). Every Trial Deck will have at least one RRR or OFR card; it will also come with a handbook, playmat, and deck guide.

The main reason why all this time later, many people might now be drawn towards these trial decks is the international release of Uma Musume Pretty Derby on 26 June 2025—more than four years after its debut in Japan. The mobile game went viral almost immediately and has been making the rounds on streaming websites, social media, and other online communities at a rapid pace.

Both Trial Decks are Japanese-exclusive items.

Each Trial Deck sells for 1,650 JPY (~US$11); 6-deck boxes are also available for purchase.
