adidas is introducing a more playful take on its usually sophisticated, trail-ready lineup with the upcoming Kantai Trail “Peanut Butter and Jelly” colorway.

About the adidas Kantai Trail “Peanut Butter and Jelly”

The “Peanut Butter and Jelly” Kantai Trail features a deep grape mesh, layered with textured purple suede overlays and accented by jelly-like streaks. Furthermore, a striped corduroy tongue adds tactile interest, complemented by the golden rope laces. Underfoot, the Lightstrike-cushioned midsole is rendered in a creamy peanut butter shade, complete with wavy striping.

Meticulous detailing is again employed at the heel, where Goobers-style pinstripe graphics and “Good Old Runners and Pals” tags add a tongue-in-cheek attitude to the design, finished off with fruity graphics on the insoles and heel pull.

Despite its lighthearted appearance, the pair maintains the technical features expected from adidas’ trail offerings. High-traction outsoles and supportive overlays ensure the pair is equipped for both man’s concrete jungle and Mother Nature’s very own.

Release Details
