Willy Chavarria’s partnership with adidas continues to command attention following a standout showing at Paris Fashion Week. Among the highlights are two new takes on the adidas Jabbar Lo. The American designer’s approach to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s signature silhouette has quickly become a focal point of his work with adidas.

About the Willy Chavarria x adidas Jabbar Lo

Willy Chavarria presents two interpretations of the shoe: the classic Jabbar Lo and an updated “Dress” iteration. The former arrives in off-white and black leather, with a new elongated tongue adorned with a black adidas x Willy Chavarria tag and gold “Willy” branding along the stripes. Its design nods to the German legacy brand’s pedigree with a black rubber toe cap reminiscent of the Superstar’s hallmark shell toe.

The Jabbar Dress Lo, on the other hand, opts for an off-white and blue palette with tan stitching, channeling a vintage collegiate aesthetic. Its modifications are subtle but evident, including a slimmer midsole and a pointed toe box that give the shoe a more refined profile.

Release Details

Both styles are slated for release on 11 July via END. Clothing, with a broader launch expected around the same time. The Jabbar Dress Lo is priced at US$250, while the standard Jabbar Lo will retail for US$160.
