Parisian accessories label côte&ciel teams up with American outdoor brand Merrell to introduce a new take on the Hut Moc 2. This collaboration is realized through Merrell’s forward-thinking 1TRL division, known for pushing the boundaries of functional footwear.

About the côte&ciel x Merrell 1TRL Hut Moc 2

Inspired by the clouds over Mt. Fuji, the silhouette of the Merrell 1TRL Hut Moc 2 is distinctly amorphous, emphasizing tranquility over velocity. This approach is echoed in the campaign visuals, which juxtapose architectural elements with organic landscapes.

The upper construction stands out with two folded fabric panels that twist and spiral around the foot, delivering a sculptural aesthetic. Beneath, a neoprene sockliner ensures a snug fit, while the lightweight, flexible sole is engineered to handle a variety of outdoor terrains.

The release arrives in two colorways: “Khaki”, featuring a light brown upper contrasted by a black sole, and “Black”, which opts for a monochromatic look.

Release Details

Both colorways of the côte&ciel x Merrell 1TRL Hut Moc 2 launched first via côte&ciel on 27 June, with a wider release through Merrell and select 1TRL retailers following on 30 June.
