Ohime the Manifested Mikanko is the central character of the Mikanko storyline as detailed in The Valuable Book EX 3. She is the form of a Mikanko who has been imbued with the powers of the Kami of the Sun after having been chosen following the performance of a sacred ritual. That said, this card’s appeal doesn’t solely hinge upon its narrative element.

Prior to its reprint in Tactical-Try Pack: Dark Magic / HERO / Mikanko, Ohime the Manifested Mikanko was already a card which had amassed a significant amount of fan appeal. A Secret Rare Ohime the Manifested Mikanko card was the chase card of Deck-Build Pack: Amazing Defenders which was released in August 2022; in addition, Ohime the Manifested Mikanko was also one of that set’s cover cards.

The recent reprint from Tactical-Try Pack: Dark Magic / HERO / Mikanko has certainly lived up to its predecessor’s reputation. The card comes in the rarity of Prismatic Secret Rare; in addition, cards of the Mikanko archetype tend to be popular because they feature female characters. After taking these factors into account as well as the original version’s status and narrative element in play, it’s no wonder that this card is one of its set’s standouts.
