It seems The Swoosh is now drawing inspiration from this successful era, as evidenced by the upcoming Nike Air Max Phoenix, a new model that bears a striking resemblance to the beloved Air Max 270.

About the Nike Air Max Phoenix

Official images of the Nike Air Max Phoenix reveal a fresh take on the 270’s distinctive design. It incorporates a 270-degree Air unit in the heel, a hallmark of its predecessor. The upper features a unique pin-dot pattern that subtly blends into the heel’s tooling.

The Air Max 270, which launched to immense popularity in 2018, remains a part of Nike’s current collection, though it no longer holds the same widespread appeal it once did. The question now is whether the Air Max Phoenix can reignite that excitement and achieve similar success.

Release Details

Currently, four colorways of the Air Max Phoenix have been unveiled. The “White/Royal” and “Triple Black” versions are scheduled for release on 3 July 2025, with “Orange/Black” and “Black/Blue” options to follow. The Nike Air Max Phoenix will retail for US$155, which is slightly less than the current price of the Air Max 270.
