About Rayquaza V (Blue Sky Stream [S7R] 076/067)

This Super Rare (SR) card’s Full Art illustration clearly alludes to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the Gen 6 remakes of Gen 3 main-series video games Ruby and Sapphire. It depicts Zinnia, the Lorekeeper who’s one of the very few surviving Draconid people, standing opposite Rayquaza—the Legendary Pokémon which the Draconids regard as their primary deity. The scene depicted on the card shows Rayquaza V having just been summoned by Zinnia at the peak of the Sky Pillar.

Another detail that’ll likely impress fans well-versed in the video games’ storyline is the fact that Aster, Zinnia’s Whismur, can be seen in the corner of the illustration, cowering at the immense power of Rayquaza V. Of course, the fact that this card depicts a popular female character as well as a fan-favorite Pokémon elevates the card’s value.
