About the Nike KD4 “Gold Medal” (2025)

Originally launched in September 2012 to commemorate Durant’s gold medal win with Team USA at the Summer Olympics, the “Gold Medal” colorway showcases a striking combination of gold, red, and navy. The 2025 retro is expected to stay true to the original design. The shoe prominently features a gold finish across the toebox, midfoot, heel, lockdown strap, and the upper part of the tongue. Navy accents provide a contrast on the mesh tongue, laces, sockliner, and the “3” in the “35” branding on the tongue.

Pops of red are strategically placed on the Swoosh on the lockdown strap, the medial side, and the “5” in the “35” logo. Additional details include a navy KD logo on the heel, a subtle navy mini-Swoosh on the vamp, and a navy foam midsole with gold speckles. The design is completed with a semi-translucent clear outsole.
