Dominik Mysterio Receives Custom Latino Heat-Inspired Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low by Vick Almighty
Embellished with many elements meaningful to the current Intercontinental Champion's identity and wrestling narrative.
Sneakers and wrestling may have been two disparate worlds in the past. Still, their confluence has never been more evident in this era of wrestling. This crossover is embodied by “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, son of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, who has become as recognized for his standout sneakers—often lacing up Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows with his Judgement Day faction—as he is for his presence in the ring.

Recently, sneaker customizers Vick Almighty and Reshoven8r—who also crafted a custom Travis Scott Nike KD 18 for Kevin Durant—collaborated to create a personalized version of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Olive for Dominik.
This custom design incorporates elements meaningful to Dominik’s identity and wrestling narrative. Drawing from the original Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Olive, the shoe features embroidered flame graphics on the black suede tongue as a tribute to the late Eddie Guerrero, known as “Latino Heat,” who played a significant father-figure role in Dominik’s life and WWE storyline.

The insole honors iconic luchador La Parka and includes the nicknames “Latino Heat” and “Latino Cheat”, the latter referencing Dominik’s ring persona. Additional details include a grey reverse Swoosh, white leather panels, red heel embroidery, and purple accents on the tongue tag and outsole, symbolizing his Judgement Day faction.
Although Dominik has yet to debut the custom sneaker in the ring, he recently appeared on WWE’s Monday Night Raw wearing Travis Scott’s Jordan Jumpman Jack in the Bright Cactus colorway, signaling his ongoing connection to the Travis Scott x Jordan collaboration.
Perhaps we’ll see the pair in the ring at the next broadcast of WWE Monday Night Raw.
