ONE PIECE Card Game to Make Its French-Language Event Debut at Japan Expo 2025
Not counting the launch event, for the very first time the event cards will be in French.
Although the ONE PIECE Card Game debuted in French in February 2025, all the events to date with the exception of its French-language launch event have featured cards and products in Japanese or English. This, however, will change at Japan Expo 2025, to be held at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord-Villepinte located just outside Paris.
Everyone who attends the event will receive a copy of a promotional Monkey D. Luffy card as well as a ONE PIECE Card Game logo sticker; additionally, there’ll also be a trial gameplay session designed to be an introduction for ONE PIECE Card Game newcomers. All participants will receive a demo Red/Green Luffy deck to use during the session as well as another promotional Monkey D. Luffy card and will be allowed to keep the deck and the card after it. These decks will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Notably, the card for attendees as well as the cards in the demo deck will all be in French.
Several side event tournaments will also be held; however, it hasn’t yet been confirmed if the cards to be used as well as the cards to be handed out as prizes will be in French as well, though such is likely to be the case.
