Jordan Shoe Box Bag, Now with Elephant Prints
A shoe box that's more than just a new storeroom addition.
It’s no secret that sneakerheads have a complicated relationship with shoe boxes. In our defence, it’s mostly justified when the Jumpman decides to put exclusive elements on the box itself — it’s part of the whole collector’s allure. We’d like to think that’s why the Jordan team has created a compromise of sorts: a shoe box that’s portable and durable for transport.
Not a novel idea from the Nike brand, Jordan’s iteration sees the bottom half of the shoe bag decked out in the brand’s infamous Elephant print. The other half of the zipper top is prominently stamped with the Jumpman’s logo in signature gold or red.
Unlike your regular ol’ cardboard box, this disguised bag is suitably padded and lined, ensuring that your kicks don’t look kicked. It also comes equipped with a top handle for easy manoeuvre and an ID card for you to label your stash as yours.
This Elephant-printed Jordan Shoe Box Bag is slated for a release in Japan on 29 September. They will retail for JPY4400 (~US$31).
In Jordan sneaker news, the Jordan Nu Retro 1 has been released from a 20 year vault.
