This partnership commemorates size?’s 25th anniversary by reimagining the classic adidas Munchen sneaker, with each collaborator contributing a distinct design vision.

About the size? x Billy’s Tokyo adidas City Series

Despite being a joint effort, each shoe within the collection draws from unique inspirations. BILLY’S Tokyo found its muse in the aesthetics of whiskey barrels and brick buildings. Their interpretation of the Munchen features a rich brown upper, crafted from a combination of textured leathers and suede, evoking the warm, rugged feel of aged whiskey. A notable detail is the Japanese engraving of “Sapporo” on the side, adding a cultural element to the design.

size? opted for a more symbolic approach, drawing inspiration from the 2002 World Cup match held at Sapporo Dome. This significant event saw David Beckham score the winning goal for England against Argentina. This iconic moment is reflected in their shoes’ vibrant teal and red colorway, which also features the “Sapporo” engraving, presented in gold.
