UNIQLO’s acclaimed T-shirt brand, UT, has announced an exciting new collaboration with the globally popular “Pokémon Card Game” and its digital counterpart, “Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket”. This highly anticipated collection, featuring both men’s and children’s T-shirts and sweatshirts, is slated to hit Uniqlo stores nationwide across Japan, as well as online, from August 2025.

About the UNIQLO UT x Pokémon TCG Pocket Collection

This marks the inaugural partnership between UT and the beloved trading card game franchise. The “Pokémon Card Game” draws its inspiration from the expansive world of the “Pokémon” video game series, while “Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket”, affectionately known as “PokéPoké”, extends the experience into a convenient game application. The upcoming apparel line will showcase unique designs derived directly from iconic Pokémon card illustrations.

Among the collection’s highlights is a special T-shirt dedicated to Pikachu, one of the Pokémon Card Game’s most recognizable figures. This particular design features an intricate collage of various Pikachu card illustrations released throughout the years, meticulously assembled to form a striking silhouette of the electric-type Pokémon. This innovative approach celebrates the character’s rich history through the diverse artistic interpretations of different illustrators.

Another notable piece is the Slowpoke T-shirt, which captures the endearing charm of the water/psychic-type Pokémon. Inspired by a Slowpoke card also appearing in “PokePoke”, the T-shirt comes in a soft, pale purple hue, echoing Slowpoke’s distinctive coloring, and prominently displays an overseas card design.

Furthermore, the comprehensive lineup will include essential items for dedicated “Pokémon Card Game” enthusiasts. Fans can look forward to T-shirts and sweatshirts adorned with international card designs featuring other beloved Pokémon such as Mew, Lapras, Eevee, and Omanyte, ensuring there’s something for every collector.

Release Details

The UNIQLO UT x Pokémon TCG Pocket Collection will be available in men’s sizes XS-4XL, with T-shirts offered in five designs at 1,500 JPY (~US$11) each, and sweatshirts in four designs at 2,999 JPY (~US$21). For younger fans, children’s sizes 100-160 will include four T-shirt designs priced at 990 JPY (~US$7) and four sweatshirt designs at 1,990 JPY (~US$14). While the official release is set for mid-August 2025, specific launch dates may vary by store.
