Fresh off his 2025 MVP win, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is extending his signature style to footwear with the Converse SHAI 001 “Hail Clay”. This new sneaker subtly references his wife Hailey, drawing inspiration from the color of her eyes, a truly romantic gesture.

About the Converse SHAI 001 “Hail Clay”

The SHAI 001s boast a distinctive puffed and molded upper, lending them a futuristic and luxurious aesthetic. For ease of wear, the design incorporates a zipper closure, allowing wearers to emulate Shai’s effortless entry into his shoes.

Internally, the sneaker features a Nike Zoom Air unit in the forefoot for enhanced responsiveness, complemented by a radial outsole engineered for optimal grip. Shai’s personal logo is prominently displayed on the tongue, while subtle Converse branding appears on the heel.

Release Details

While an official release date has not yet been confirmed, the Converse SHAI 001 “Hail Clay” is anticipated to launch in Fall 2025. It will be priced at US$130 and available for purchase on Converse.com and at select retailers.
