Jordan Spizike Low OG “Black” [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
A colorway that draws inspiration from the second-ever Jordan Spizike release in January 2007.
Spike Lee’s enduring connection with the Jordan Brand dates back to the 1980s and 90s, when his character Mars Blackmon, first introduced in the film She’s Gotta Have It, became a staple in Air Jordan sneaker commercials. This long-standing collaboration was honored in 2006 with the release of Lee’s own hybrid sneaker, the Jordan Spizike. After its debut as a low-top in 2024, the Jordan Spizike Low is set to receive an “OG” refresh in Summer 2025.
About the Jordan Spizike Low OG “Black”
While not the original colorway, this new Black iteration of the Spizike Low draws inspiration from the second-ever Jordan Spizike release in January 2007. The design features black patent leather on the mudguard, complemented by nubuck panels in the same shade on the toebox, midfoot, and collar. Elephant print details, a direct homage to the Air Jordan 3, are incorporated in green around the toe and black on the heel.

Pops of red provide vibrant contrast, appearing on the laces, the Jumpman-adorned lace shroud, and the heel tab. The heel tab also features a portrait of Mars Blackmon and Spike Lee’s iconic 40 Acres and a Mule logo. The upper is further enriched with design elements from various Air Jordan models: Air Jordan 5-inspired panels on the eyelets and midfoot, Air Jordan 4 Wings on the collar, and a red Air Jordan 6-inspired lace lock. The Air Jordan 3 midsole is presented in black and red, while the outsole combines white, green, and red.
