Meanwhile, the Air Max 90, marking its 35th year, continues to be a strong presence in general release lineups, while its counterpart has ventured into the realm of highly sought-after releases. This trend continues with an upcoming Nike Air Max 90 “Thunder Blue”.

About the Nike Air Max 90 “Thunder Blue”

Unlike the common “Infrared” style color blocking often seen on Air Max 90 models, this new iteration features a sophisticated base of “Pale Ivory” mesh and suede, complemented by a gum sole. A “Thunder Blue” mudguard and vibrant red branding evoke a Fourth of July aesthetic, a classic color combination in Nike’s catalog. However, the unique blocking on this shoe gives Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design a fresh feel.

Release Details

The Nike Air Max 90 “Thunder Blue” is set to release as part of Nike’s Summer/Fall 2025 collection and will retail for US$140. Stay tuned for a firm release date.
