There’s also a novelty factor in play as Mitsurugi Ritual is the only card ever released which is able to Tribute monster cards from the player’s deck.

Part of this card’s appeal also comes from players as well as collectors because Mitsurugi Ritual has been proven to be an important part of the Mitsurugi deck—one of the strongest decks in the current Yu-Gi-Oh TCG metagame outside Asia-Pacific and Japan where it isn’t yet out.

As has been mentioned, this card is English-exclusive thus far; there’s been no mention of a Japanese release as of yet.
