About Tornadus (SVP Black Star Promos 210)

Further adding to the nostalgic element which has caused Black Bolt [BLK] and White Flare [WHT] to become among the most highly-anticipated Pokémon TCG sets ever, this card is a tribute to the Tornadus card from Gen 5 set Emerging Powers. Like its earlier version, this card features the Hurricane attack which has now been adjusted to account for powercreep.

This card’s Full Art illustration depicts Tornadus in its Incarnate Forme attacking with the aforementioned Hurricane attack. The visual also alludes to the name of this Tornadus card’s other attack Wrapped in Wind while also perhaps referencing spin-off video game Pokémon Legends: Arceus as in that video game, when Tornadus is encountered in the wild, it’s surrounded by whirlwinds.

Release Details

The Japanese version of this card will be card 158/086 from White Flare [SV11W].

The sale price of a Tornadus (SVP Black Star Promos 210) card will only be known after the first copies are sold on the open market.
