Unreleased Air Jordan 11 “OVO” Colorways Showcase What Could Have Been
With design language that aligns closely with the Air Jordan 8, 10, and 12 OVO packs from the mid-2010s.
Drake’s collaboration with Jordan Brand may have ended, but its significance is increasingly evident as rare sample sneakers continue to surface. Recently, two unreleased Air Jordan 11 “OVO” colorways were unveiled by renowned collector Simon Tan (@depeche23mode), showcasing design elements reminiscent of Drake’s earlier public releases and the signature “OVO” monogram.
About the Air Jordan 11 “OVO” Colorways
These samples feature the familiar opposing white and black color schemes, glittery gold outsoles, and embossed OVO cross patterns on the patent leather—an approach that echoes the luxury feel achieved with stingray leather on previous OVO collaborations, but adapted for the Air Jordan 11’s materials.

This design language aligns closely with the Air Jordan 8, 10, and 12 OVO packs from the mid-2010s, further connecting these samples to Drake’s broader impact on the brand. The emergence of these Air Jordan 11s offers a glimpse into what might have been if the partnership had continued.

Notably, only two sets of these Air Jordan 11 “OVO” samples are known to exist, with collector @englishsole confirming the extreme rarity; each colorway is limited to just one pair. Additional provenance comes from reports that Fat Joe possesses the other set, underscoring their status as true collector’s items.

While these exclusive “OVO” Air Jordan 11s are unlikely to see a retail release, their appearance highlights Drake’s enduring influence on Jordan Brand’s legacy and the ongoing demand for his collaborative designs.
