One of the two new Yu-Gi-Oh TCG card archetypes introduced in Duelist Advance was the Artmegia archetype. Among the cards of this new archetype, the most expensive and coveted was the Artmegia Finemelt card in its Prismatic Secret Rare iteration.

About Artmegia Finemelt (Duelist Advance DUAD-JP009)

Artmegia Finemelt can be seen in the background of the illustrations of five other Duelist Advance cards including four others of the new Artmegia archetype. As such, this card’s place in the Yu-Gi-Oh universe’s canon has clearly been established; this will likely impress buyers who are interested in Yu-Gi-Oh’s lore.

Since this card depicts a female character, it will thus attract a considerable amount of fan appeal. Artmegia Finemelt is also one of the 20 cards in Duelist Advance which has a version in Prismatic Secret Rare—the set’s highest rarity; these two factors are likely the biggest contributors to its value.
