Same Old Brand New: Air Jordan 1 Low “Wear-Away”
Jumping on the distressed sneaker bandwagon.
With New Balance, Vans and Nike all putting out worn-in, pre-aged sneakers, it looks like the distressed sneaker trend is here to stay.
So far, Nike has already released two pairs of its Air Jordan sneakers in a unique “Wear-Away” colorway with which OG black overlays reportedly fade to reveal another contrasting color underneath.
Following a red and a green Wear-away, a new peach orange pair has joined the lineup. Appearing in a similarly buttery-soft leather construction, this new Air Jordan 1 Low “Wear-Away” features a aged-look that’s a cross between being muddied and an oil spill. Nike and Jordan Brand changed things up by giving the liners some colors, instead of regular black.
Stay tuned as more release info for this Air Jordan 1 Low “Wear-Away” becomes available.
