[Update 2 Apr 2025] The official image of the Starter Deck has been released on the official ONE PIECE Card Game website.

[Update 19 Mar 2025] It has been confirmed that the international release has been scheduled for June 2025 and will cost US$11.99.

Potentially positioned as the follow-ups to six prior ONE PIECE Card Game Starter Decks corresponding to specific card colors, six new Starter Decks were revealed by BANDAI during BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 24-25 World Tour Final in Japan. These Starter Decks will be launched in Japan on 28 June 2025.

Among the Starter Decks which are to be released will be the Purple/Black Monkey D. Luffy Starter Deck [ST-26]—the “sequel” to the Purple Monkey D. Luffy Starter Deck [ST-18].

As is the case with all 50-card Starter Decks, the Purple/Black Monkey D. Luffy Starter Deck [ST-26] will be mainly marketed towards new ONE PIECE Card Game players. It’s intended to serve as an introduction to the TCG and will thus be playable without needing to be modified.

Selling for the low price of 550 JPY (~US$3.70), the Purple/Black Monkey D. Luffy Starter Deck [ST-26] is so priced to cater to newcomers.
