[Update 7 Apr 2025] Details about the official exam have been released on the ONE PIECE Card Game’s official website. Here’s a summary: Registration for the first exam will be open from April 4 to April 18, 2025, and the exam itself will take place between April 25 and May 4, 2025. This schedule applies to the following countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Taiwan. The result for the first exam, will be announce on 9 May and 16 May for Taiwan and Malaysia respectively. Information on exams result for Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines has yet to be announced.

The second exam registration period for Taiwan will run from May 9 to May 16, with the exam scheduled for either May 24 or May 25. While participants can indicate their preferred exam date, the final date will be determined by a lottery system. Meanwhile, Malaysia’s second exam registration will be open from May 16 to May 23, with the exam taking place on either May 31 or June 1. As for Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, details regarding their second exam have not yet been announced.

From March 2025, BANDAI will debut the Authorized Judge Program in Japan and Asia-Pacific. The idea behind the program is to be an official certification programs that will enable those who complete the program to serve as tournament judges at official ONE PIECE Card Game tournaments. In this way, the standard of officiating at those tournaments will be elevated.

About the Authorized Judge Program

Before completion of the Authorized Judge Program, candidates are required to pass an official exam. The first of these exams will be held in Asia-Pacific in April 2025; no dates have been listed for Japan as of yet. Candidates may only take the exam once; a BANDAI Namco ID is required before registering for it.

Certified authorized judges are to have their certification renewed annually. Those who do not do so will have their status revoked by default.

Certification allows authorized judges to oversee tournaments of various sizes and levels of prestige, from low-level in-store Flagship Battle and 8 Packs tournaments to large-scale regional-level tournaments.

Authorized judges in Japan will be entitled to receive a copy of Official Judge Promotion Pack Vol.1 after each tournament. No information on the item that authorized judges in Asia-Pacific has been revealed as of yet.
