About the adidas AE 1 Low “Silver Metallic”

Inspired by a popular custom design that went viral online, the adidas AE 1 “Silver Metallic” showcases a metallic silver finish on the generative support wing at the midfoot, giving the shoe a futuristic and eye-catching aesthetic.

This honeycomb-detailed panel contrasts sharply with the black elements on the toe, Primeblue knit upper, neoprene tongue, and faux carbon fiber heel tab. Blue branding accents, including the Anthony Edwards logo on the tongue and the Three Stripes on the heel tab, add a pop of color to the two-tone design.

The sneaker is equipped with a full-length Jet Boost midsole for superior comfort and responsiveness during play, while a black rubber outsole ensures excellent grip, making it as practical as it is stylish.

Release Details

The adidas AE 1 “Silver Metallic” was released on 13 February 2025, exclusively at Foot Locker in San Francisco. A wider release will follow on 27 February 2025 via adidas and select retailers online and in-store. The pair retails for US$130 and is available in men’s sizing.
