About the New Balance 509 “Black/White”

Originally reintroduced through a collaboration with South Korean designer Dohee Kim in October 2024, the New Balance 509 shares design elements with its counterparts, featuring a mesh base, leather overlays, and sleek metallic silver accents—at least in this particular iteration.

While the New Balance 509 has remained under the radar since the Dohee Kim collaboration, it seems poised for a broader global release. This black and white style is just one of several expected to drop during Spring/Summer 2025, with a Comme des Garçons (CDG) collaboration also rumored for later in the year.

Release Details
