Several cards of the Sky Striker archetype received alternate-art reprints in Quarter Century Art Collection. While that wasn’t the case with Sky Striker Ace – Shizuku—this alternate illustration had already been seen in Selection 5—the Quarter Century Art Collection version was the card’s first in the rarity of Quarter Century Secret Rare.

From a narrative standpoint, this card’s illustration follows that of the Sky Striker Mobilize – Linkage! card. In this card’s imagery, Sky Striker Ace – Shizuku was summoned by Sky Striker Ace – Raye to protect herself and Sky Striker Ace – Roze. The backstory behind the illustration was shown in Chapter 19 of the Sky Striker Ace arc of the Yu-Gi-Oh OCG Stories manga, adding appeal to this card among those who read the manga.

Being a Quarter Century Secret Rare card which features a female character, this card carries inherent appeal. In addition, its narrative depth is likely to draw the interest of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG fans who are well-versed in the lore of the Yu-Gi-Oh universe.
