Nike continues its holiday tradition with the Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas”. This Protro version blends contemporary materials and technology with the original design. The Kobe 3, initially released in 2007, made waves with its distinctive lattice upper and grid-like structure, famously worn by Bryant during the 2007 Christmas Day game.

About the Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas”

This 2025 “Christmas” edition of the Nike Kobe 3 Protro features a Royal Pulse, Chrome, and White color scheme. While the diamond grid pattern remains, modern materials improve breathability and performance.

Chrome Swoosh branding adds a sophisticated touch, but the key upgrade is the full-length articulated Zoom Strobel cushioning, enhancing responsiveness, comfort, and on-court performance while maintaining a lightweight feel and improved stability.

Release Details

Despite the limited information discernible from the mockup, for what it’s worth, the Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas” will be available at Nike’s brick-and-click stores for US$240 during, as expected, Holiday 2025.
