About the Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Year of the Mamba” (Triple Black)

This “Triple Black” variant follows its “Eggplant” and “University Red” predecessors. A textured mamba snake coils around the Swoosh, while glossy synthetic panels contrast with matte black details. Against this monochromatic backdrop, a yellow Mamba logo on the tongue introduces a visual counterpoint.

Designed to reflect Kobe’s precision and drive, this all-black design embodies his Black Mamba alter ego. The deep black tones highlight the shoe’s textures, making it stylish and symbolic.

Release Details

For now, the titular Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Triple Black” Year of the Mamba will not be released to the public. Nonetheless, stay tuned. PEs getting a public release in the future isn’t out of the norm these days.
