The Regenesis archetype was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG in Alliance Insight, the newest Core Booster. A total of eight such cards comprised the first batch of Regenesis cards; three of them had Quarter Century Secret Rare versions—including Regenesis Sage Shemot.

About Regenesis Sage Shemot (Alliance Insight ALIN-JP014)

Since this card is part of a new archetype, the novelty factor is likely to draw people to this card. Since this card also comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare—the rarity specifically created by Konami in honor of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary—this card’s demand and value will be further elevated.

Just like every other Regenesis monster card, this card references the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary as well as the fact that Alliance Insight will be the last set commemorating it. Regenesis Sage Shemot can be Special Summoned from the player’s hand if a monster with 2500 original ATK or DEF is on the field. In addition, the original ATK and DEF of this card are both 2500.

The sale price of a Regenesis Sage Shemot (Alliance Insight ALIN-JP014) card in its Quarter Century Secret Rare version is 2,000 JPY (~US$13).
