Dime and Vans Reunite for Vans Half Cab’s 30th Anniversary
The skate shoe classic gets a luxe makeover courtesy of Dime.
To celebrate 30 years of its iconic Half Cab silhouette, Vans has enlisted the help of longtime collaborator Dime. This time, the duo went all luxe on the mid-top skate shoe, featuring a classic-looking tan suede as the main material.
Veering off from the Half Cab’s usual streetwear aesthetic, Dime dressed the upper in an oxford tan suede that screams more premium than rugged. The Montreal skate brand’s logo is featured throughout the entire sneaker—debossed on the lateral heel and co-branded hangtag, branded on Vans’ PopCush insole, and also sprawled across the semi-translucent waffle outsole. A black midsole adds some contrast to the tan upper.
The Dime x Vans Half Cab ’92 is slated to drop exclusively via Dime on 17 September, with a wider global release on 22 September. Follow along for the latest updates including pricing details.
