The wait is almost over. French designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi’s (LGN) PUMA collaboration, first teased the project during his Spring/Summer 2025 runway show last June, is nigh, with the parties unveiling the release details for the designer’s mule version of the PUMA Mostro.

About the Louis-Gabriel Nouchi x PUMA Mostro Mule

The Louis-Gabriel Nouchi x PUMA Mostro Mule demonstrates the former’s design philosophy. He stated, “I synthesized the essence of the iconic Mostro shoes into a radical mule design using a single material, transforming it into both a design object and a comfortable sneaker.”

True to his word, LGN has retained the PUMA Mostro’s hallmarks while modernizing the silhouette into a slip-on mule.

The shoe’s signature spiked sole unit is a mainstay while foregoing the nylon strap. The single-material rubberized construction is available in two classic colorways: “Black” and “Bone”. PUMA’s trademark Formstrip is uniformly integrated into the molding, while the insole features co-branding details for both the French designer and the German legacy brand.

Release Details

The Louis-Gabriel Nouchi x PUMA Mostro Mule Pack will be available on Louis-Gabriel Nouchi’s website from 23 January. A wider release through select retailers will follow two days later on 25 January. The unisex mules will retail for US$158.
